Newstar announces production version of its DRM receiver DR111A

Newstar has posted info & specifications of an updated version of the Newstar DR111 receiver - DR111A. Comparing with DR111 specifications no changes has been observed, but the newer version is marked as "available for ordering" & not marked as "pre-production sample" as was marked for DR111.

Tudor Vedeanu says via drmna yg "I've just found this piece of information: according to Dave N9EWO (http://n9ewo.angelfire.com), Newstar said "DR111A is a cost-down model of DR111 which removes long wave band reception and Journaline function".

Newstar announces firmware update for its DRM receiver DR111

Newstar has announced latest firmware update for the DR111 DRM receiver. Beginning August, 2012 Newstar will begin shipping DR111 receivers with the new firmware. Older receivers can be upgraded to the new firmware version.

What’s New?

The new version v790 supports the following added features:

DRM recording and playback.

DRM reception logging.

DRM expert mode.
