RTI launches 2026 Website User Experience Survey

Radio Taiwan International (RTI) has officially launched its website user survey to gather valuable feedback from its audience. The survey is designed to assess the user experience on the official Rti website and collect opinions for future improvements.

To express gratitude to the participants, Rti is holding a special giveaway. Respondents who provide their contact information upon completing the questionnaire will be entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win a variety of generous prizes.

The survey is open until Sunday, October 18, 2026, at 15:59 UTC (23:59 Taipei Time/UTC+8). The list of lucky winners is scheduled to be published on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

India is celebrating its 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026, details of special programs by Akashvani for the occasion is as follows:

14th August 2026 (Friday) 1330 UTC (7.00 pm IST) onwards “Address to the Nation” on the eve of Independence Day in Hindi and English by Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon'ble President of India.

All stations of Akashvani will relay this on MW, SW & FM.

Akashvani Home Service stations will broadcast live broadcast the running commentary in English and Hindi on the Flag Hoisting and Prime Minister's address to the nation to be held at Red Fort, New Delhi between 0130-0240 UTC (0700-0810 hrs IST) on 15th August, 2026 on the following SW frequencies.

English:

15260 kHz Bengaluru 250 kW

Hindi:

9740 kHz New Delhi 100 kW

15410 kHz Bangalore 250 kW

The External Services on the above frequencies in Indonesian, Nepali, Burmese & Baluchi scheduled at this same time will be not there on that day.

On 15 August 20206, The External Service programs will commence with Vanthe Matharam, India's National Song

All stations of Akashvani (AIR) will relay the running commentary on MW, FM.

Myanmar: RSF and Mizzima to reopen a vital information lifeline on shortwave radio

With effect from 9th August (Sunday) Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and the independent Myanmar media outlet Mizzima have joined forces to launch the “Voice of Independent Myanmar,” a shortwave radio broadcast aimed at providing vital information to the Myanmar public as it confronts the civil war and censorship from the military junta.

Schedule :  

60-minute broadcast will be aired weekly on shortwave radio from 7 am to 8 am local time (1230-1330 UTC) every Sunday on 17665 kHz.
