This week's programme starts with a nocturne by the composer credited with inventing the form - John Field. Then three of John Betjeman's poems set to music and sung, some of a violin sonata by Franz von Biber - revolutionary for its time (the 17th century). Next - some Bartok - Rhapsody for Violin and Orchestra, followed by part of a string quartet by Aaron Copland. Three pieces finish off the hour - a traditional Georgian Chorale, Some Telemann, and an arrangement of La Folia by Vivaldi.
Channel 292 can be pulled live off the internet if the reception is poor in your location. Easy to find their site with a google search.
