Major restructure unfolds at KBS

KBS has undertaken a major organizational restructure as of June 11, 2010. The latest change aims to redefine roles and responsibilities of KBS as public service broadcaster which places greater emphasis on audience and broadcasting content.

Main points of the recent restructure are as follows;

- Newly-introduced organizational structure of KBS consists of 5 Divisions and 3 Centers.
- 5 Divisions: Audience Relations, News & Sports, Content, New Media & Technology, Policy Planning

Documentary Department has been set up under Content Division to meet the goal of enhancing KBS as a content-oriented broadcaster. Also, New Media & Technology Division has been created in order to actively respond to the future media environment.
