All India Radio will soon start hourly FM news headlines from its Srinagar station. This was announced by the Director General, News Dr. P.K. Bandyopadhyay in Srinagar while addressing the parttime correspondent workshop. He said, Radio will make all out efforts to reflect the aspirations of people and the issues confronting them at grossroot level and is contemplating to start another five minute newscast from Radio Kashmir, Srinagar. The three day workshop was inaugrated in Srinagar by the Union Minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz yesterday. Twentytwo PTCs, apart from News Heads of the Radio Kashmir, Sringar, Jammau and Leh, are participating in the workshop. The workshop will conclude on Sunday.
