Time to register for the DX Parliament and SDXF's 70th anniversary May 29-31, 2026 in Västmanland

Next year SDXF will be celebrating its 70th anniversary and this will be celebrated on May 29-31, 2026 at the DX Parliament in Ramnäs, Västmanland. Ramnäs is located 8 kilometers north of Surahammar and 25 km north of Västerås. The hotel is located along Bergslagsvägen and there is plenty of parking. There is a bus service, as well as the option to get here by train. Good price with the option to choose a single/double room. First come, first served.

Swedish DX Federation brings up motion to restore Radio Sweden broadcasts in MW & SW

Let Radio Sweden Intl. become radio again !

At the annual meeting of SDXF (Swedish DX Federation), a motion was approved to send a letter to the Riksdag regarding the restoration of Radio Sweden International's broadcasts on medium and short waves. The letter was sent to all parties in the Riksdag, members and deputies of the Culture Committee, four ministers concerned and the board of Sveriges Radio. The date has been chosen in view of the Riksdag's consideration of the bill on permits for radio broadcasts, which will be considered on 1st October.

Special program by SDXF on World Radio Day 2020

Special program by SDXF on World Radio Day on February 13

Swedish DX Federation will celebrate World Radio Day on Thursday, February 13, 2020 with a special broadcast over Channel 292 in Germany on short wave 7440 kHz at 0900 UTC (1000 Swedish time). Program is mainly in Swedish but it also includes a segment in English devoted to Radio Luxembourg.

The program will then re-run on Sunday, February 16 at. 1100 UTC (1200 Swedish time at the same frequency. We hope for good reception.

Swedish DX Federation special transmission

The Swedish DX Federation will have three broadcasts on mediumwave and shortwave in early 2014 as follows:

Sunday 5 January at 1800-1900 UTC on 1485 kHz (Radio Merkurs, Latvia)

Saturday 11 January at 1200-1300 UTC on 7265 kHz (Hamburger Lokalradio)

Sunday 9 February at 1800-1900 UTC on 1485 kHz (Radio Merkurs)

Saturday 15 February at 1200-1300 UTC on 7265 kHz (Hamburger Lokalradio)

Sunday 9 March at 1800-1900 UTC on 1485 kHz (Radio Merkurs)

Saturday 15 March at 1200-1300 UTC on 7265 kHz (Hamburger Lokalradio)

 

The programmes will be produced and presented by Ronny Forslund and they will be mainly in Swedish. In addition to DX News and details about the Swedish DX scene there will be lots of nice music.
