RTI German language special transmissions from Tamsui transmitter site, Taiwan

This year too, RTI is broadcasting its German-language program directly from the Tamsui broadcasting station in northern Taiwan on several days:

RTI will be broadcasting 10-minute test broadcasts on Saturday, July 6th, 2024 at the following times and frequencies.

Broadcast dates and frequencies:

Test broadcasts: on July 6, 2024 (Saturday)

1700-1710 UTC on 11995 kHz

1730-1740 UTC on 9545 kHz

1745-1755 UTC on 7250 kHz

From the above 3 frequencies, 2 frequencies are selected for the direct broadcasts.

The official broadcast dates for the German-language program are:

(Half an hour on one frequency 17:00-17:30 UTC, half an hour on the second frequency 17:30-18:00 UTC):

The German service  of Radio Taiwan International will have special broadcasts during August, Septemeber and October 2016 directly from Tamshui transmitter site in Taiwan. Reception reports will be verified with a special QSL-card.

July 22, 2016 at 1600-1610 UTC in AM and at 1620-1630 UTC in DRM (Test)

Aug 26, 27, 28 , 2016 and Sep 02, 03 and 04, 2016 all at 1600-1700 UTC AM

Oct 01, 02, 03, 08 and 09, 2016 all at 1000-1100 UTC in AM

Oct 10, 2016 at 1000-1100 UTC in DRM.

Radio Taiwan International - Frequency change for listeners in South Asia

Starting March 7th, 2011 our english transmission to South Asia from 1600 to 1700 UTC on 11550 KHz will be replaced by 9435 KHz. While we do notice the occasional problem of noise and interference in certain parts of India, the new frequncy has a stronger signal than 11550 KHz. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank listeners for monitoring the reception condition for us in India.
