Voice of Joy in Iraq

Voices of joy are heard around the Feba office as we received verbal permission from Iraq's Ministry of Information to begin test broadcasts from our own community radio station in the country. With an equipped studio and temporary mast in place, Feba's trained full-time staff are in position to launch the Voice of Joy station immediately.
The Voice of Joy ministry project was just a vision in 2007. Now the perseverance and patience of our international ministry team has paid off and our prayers are that the station will become a stable, constant Christian friend to listeners in the area. As a community station, Voice of Joy will broadcast local news and information. While obviously aware of ongoing serious or sometimes tragic events occurring in the region, Voice of Joy also promises music and humour. Along with testimonies to God's love and faithfulness, appropriate social programmes on issues such as health or human interest stories will be broadcast. Please join us in prayer for written permission from Iraq's Ministry of Information for a licence to enable us to consolidate and further our work in this region. Please pray for safe travel and a good outcome for our Middle East Co-ordinator who is making plans to meet up with the Voice of Joy team in Iraq.
