LONDON - The BBC must take a lead role in extending the reach of digital radio around the UK, a key report feeding into Lord Carter's Digital Britain work by former GMG Radio chief executive John Myers has concluded. As revealed by Media Week this week, Myers' report concludes that "the BBC must take a lead role in underwriting that investment required to build out the DAB networks".
