All we hear is radio ga ga

Despite being an easily consumable media, radio truly arrived in India at the time of the media boom when other well-entrenched media such as television, print and even cyber media were vying for people's attention. In most developed countries, radio has already peaked and stabilised into the media pie, but before the medium actually finds its own space in India, there are many issues that need to be addressed. The challenge now is to build on the strengths of radio and drive the kind of growth that surpasses projections.
