Miraya FM looking for Project Head

Fondation Hirondelle is looking for an experienced media professional to fill the position of Head of Project for Miraya FM, a radio network it has established in Sudan in partnership with the United Nations.

HEAD OF PROJECT

Based in Khartoum, Sudan

Responsibilities will include:
- In the field, the implementation and coordination of Miraya FM for Fondation Hirondelle.
- Ensuring compliance with the rules of ethics and professionalism that make the reputation of Miraya FM and Fondation Hirondelle.
- Working in coordination with the main leaders of the United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) who are responsible for Miraya FM.
- Designing and implementing guidelines for the management of human resources, financial and technical resources of the radio.
- Representing Fondation Hirondelle in all settings related to Miraya FM, and participating in meetings and discussions with local authorities, professional associations and donors of the project.

Profile:
- Many years successful experience as a successful media professional
- Experience as a Project manager and / or manager of development activities in Africa a plus, - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a certain sense of diplomacy and negotiation
- Experience in organisation and supervision of personnel
- English fluency, Arabic and other Sudanese languages a plus.

Salary range: 9,000 to 10,000 USD a month
