LRA 36 NATIONAL RADIO ARCÁNGEL SAN GABRIEL

Saturday, September 21, 2019 LRA 36 will hold a special transmission from the Base Esperanza, Antarctica Argentina.

1300-1415 UTC (1000 -1115 hours Local Time) on 15476 kHz

Reception reports should be sent to lra36@hotmail.com and, if correct, will be verified with a special electronic QSL.

The arrival of spring is a very good reason, as well as the proximity of the 40th anniversary of the station you are met on 20 October.

The special broadcast will be in charge of the announcers LRA36 for this season: Sabrina Alanis, Costilla and Karina Beatriz Muñoz while the technical operation is José Calpanchay. They can also send their greetings to email comments and suggestions to be read during the program.

Radio Nacional in Spanish logged on 19th Feb 2011 , v/s Fermando Farias from English language team.

RAE 15345 Logged

Its my pleasure to inform that I logged RAE i.e.RADIODIFUSION ARENTINA AL EXTERIOR Argentia English on October 1st, 2009 on 15345 kHz by my Grundig YB400 Rx with just a few meters of copper wire as external antenna from 1844 UTC onwards. There was perhaps DX Programme cum tourist Infos feature was going on (guessed).I was very surprised at first time & couldn't believe myself ..but later listening further ...upto..a few moments..I've no doubt it is indeed RAE..though the signal varied from fair to poor plus with occasional fading plus more displeasure was QRN..atmospheric noise..after English transmission signing off announcement by YL at 1856UTC there was interval signal of RAE plus ID announcement in Spanish perhaps..plus repeated for nearly four minutes or so sometime ID was announced in Male voice, around 1900UTC came the time signal & then music, another spell of ID announcements etc seems to me opening announcements of next service in perhaps either in Spanish or Italian..

RAE Competition

RAE, the Foreign Service of the Argentine Public Radio, with the collaboration of the Radiolisteners Group of Argentina launches a contest for our audience in Argentina and in the world. The requirement is to send us two reception reports: one on our Spanish-language program and the other on any of the other languages broadcasts (English, French, German, Italia, Portuguese and Japanese).
The contest begins on August 3, 2009 and reception reports will have to cover any of our programs until 2359 hours of August 17, a date selected to pay homage to the most important national hero of Argentina, General San Martín. “The father of the country”, as we call him, died on August 17, 1850.

Reception reports must be sent by e-mail to rae@radionacional.gov.ar or by traditional mail to RAE, PO Box 555, post code: C1000WAF, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Reports will be accepted until September 30, 2009. All participants will receive a QSL cards. Among all who take part in the contest, there will be a prize draw for two Argentine music CD compilations.
