TUMKUR: A Tumkur-based private educational institute, Shri Siddhartha Centre for Media Studies, has launched a community FM radio station on Friday. The trial run of the station will help radio journalism students to acquire skills as well as entertain locals. The station will cover 40 km and the frequency is 90.8 MHz. It will broadcast for a month, two hours daily from 6 pm to 8 pm.
