Last transmission of "Aqui Radio Andorra" on shortwave will be coming up on Saturday, 3rd December from 1600-1830 UTC on 6180 kHz. Originally hosted in 1979 by the famous french singer Hervé Vilard and being accompanied by the author Guy des Cars. Broadcasted as usually via Moosbrunn with a power of 100kW on a directional LogPer Antenna towards 270°.

Next Radio Andorra Broadcast September 3rd

The next program from the Archives of Radio Andorra will be on this saturday, september 3rd. It's a 2-hour nostalgia program from summer 1979 which was hosted by the french singer and actress Mirelle Hartuch :     https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mireille_Hartuch

The music selection is very eclectic and won't be found on any radio station nowadays.

Towards Europe : 17-19 UTC on 6180 kHz with a LogPer Antenna on 270°

Towards NAm : 22-24 UTC on 13730 kHz via a HRS4/4/1

There are also programs in preparation for October to December, first saturday per month each, hosted by Sheila (who had a big hit with "Spacer" together with B. Devotion), Serge Gainsbourg and Hervé Vilard.

Radio Andorra tribute broadcast on 12th April '21

Special program announcement:

As some of you know, the legendary Radio Andorra was taken off the air these days 40 years ago in 1981 by the government. Some programs that were prepared couldn't be aired, most of the material is lost. Luckily, the playlist of the last planned hit-parade from April, 12th 1981 survived, thus it was never broadcasted. 40 years later this will finally be done.

Next Monday, April, 12th 2021 at 17 UTC, exact 40 years later we will complete history. The show will be hosted by a DJ that started his career in Radio Andorra end of the 1970s. The program will be in French and broadcasted via Moosbrunn on a steerable LogPer Antenna directed at 270° towards the centre of France. All French-speaking countries in Europe should be covered in good quality.
