Radio's Battle To Be Heard In India

The message came loud and clear through a series of ads that first appeared late November: India's radio industry, determined to grab itself a bigger share of the ad pie, has newspapers locked in its sights. One ad declared: 'Contrary to popular belief, there is something mightier than the pen in Mumbai. Radio.' Another announced: 'Contrary to popular belief, print is not 'it' in Bengaluru; radio is'.
